Normally, I keep my tech posts for Gadgetell.com, but this will be a short post.  January: Palm shows off the Palm Pre, the phone that will save Palm.  Tons of guesses were made about its launch date as the months went by.  Today, Palm announced a 6/6 release date.

2 days later Apple has its WWDC where people expect an annoucement about a new iPhone.  Nice timing, Palm.  You just squandered your opportunity to get the big lead on Apple.

I’ve said this before: This is some kind of karmic payback for what happened with the Newton and the Palm Pilot.

Taking the dogs out, there was a squirrel at the base of the steps.  I made some noises to get rid of the thing.  Of course, it didn’t work.  I got tied up in the leashes and got propelled off the steps.  I landed on my feet.  Damn squirrel.
