A small networking issue is solved by my really old, really cheap, set of powerline Ethernet adapters that I picked up from Geeks.com for no reason a long time ago!  Who needs gigabit Ethernet for a printer?

Just ordered a new gigabit Ethernet switch.  This one will be more centrally located in the basement.  Either that or I will swipe it for my home office (and swap out my office’s 10/100 switch).

The wife just got an Eee PC netbook, so I ended up with her old Macbook.  It’s not that different than my Macbook Pro (both machines are about 3 years old).  I’m still not buying a new laptop until Snow Leopard and/or Windows 7 is released.
