Let’s just agree to disagree.

Blogging platform indecision
I go back and forth on sticking with Posterous or moving back to Wordrpess. Switching back to WordPress could be fun since there are so many plugins, but part of what drew me Posterous was the simplicity and autoposting to other sources like Twitter, Blip, Tumblr, etc. Other times, I think a full move to Twitter combined with other services may work.
One of the reasons I have a blog is to give people an easy way to find my thoughts, videos, podcasts, or whatever in one place. I’ll come up with a solution eventually, but for right now, if you want to find my work, visit http://about.me/iyaz
Padfone: Lots of hype over nothing
[youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z2ANnpHnUrc]
Asus announced the Padfone, which is a phone that when combined with a dock becomes a tablet. The device is to run Ice Cream Sandwich when it is released around December of this year. Considering that version of Android will be the one version for both tablets and phones, that makes plenty of sense.
Here’s the thing: Asus announced the device combo, but only showed mockup devices. So lots of people were going gaga over hunks of plastic that don’t actually work as anything other than a paperweight. I like the idea of device, but considering it doesn’t exist in a working form, there’s no reason to get so excited just yet. What’s my point? Curb your enthusiasm until you can get your hands on a working version.
At least you tried.
Ah, Reddit.
Let the ramblings commence (again).
Way back in the late 90s, I had a Xoom.com page (it was a free site place like Geocities) where I wrote about whatever I wanted. It was something called a “website.” I had one section that I would update regurlarly called “Ramblings” where I would spout off about various topics. It was pretty much a blog, but there were no blogs then.
Considering I have a bit of a larger audience than I did back then, I think my rambling posts will resurface. I may repost old things or just write posts about the same topics.
